How much does a typical laptop repair cost?
It depends on the fault — a screen replacement is different from a motherboard repair. Diagnosis is $66, and we'll always call you with fixed-price quote before doing any chargeable work. Most common repairs (battery, screen, keyboard, virus removal) sit in the $132–$264 bracket for labour with any hardware needed also quoted before going ahead with repair.
Do you actually come to Melbourne CBD onsite?
Yes. We do scheduled onsite visits across the CBD and surrounds — particularly useful for offices, multiple machines, or desktops that are awkward to transport. Most jobs are booked the same week; urgent issues we'll usually slot in within 24 hours.
What's the turnaround time?
Most repairs are diagnosed same-day or next day and completed within 24–76 hours. Low level motherboad repairs and parts orders for less common machines (gaming laptops, business-class Lenovos) can extend that — we'll always tell you up front.
Will my data be safe?
Yes. Wherever possible we repair without touching your files. If a repair requires accessing storage (e.g. data recovery, cloning a failing drive), we'll explain that first. Your data stays on your device and is never shared with anyone.
Do you offer a warranty?
Every repair is covered by a 90-day workmanship warranty. If the same fault returns, we'll fix it again at no charge. Hardware components we install are also covered by their manufacturer warranty.
Where is your workshop?
